Killzone (ICT)

Also called: killzones, kill zone, kill zones, killzone ict, killzone de londres, killzone de new york

A killzone is a time window — popularized by the ICT method — during which institutional volume concentrates, around the London and New York opens. It’s not a signal but a time filter: the same setup doesn’t carry the same weight inside it as outside it. The classic windows are fixed in New York time — which, for a French trader, means 8am–11am (London) and 1pm–4pm (New York) for most of the year, one hour earlier during the short periods when the US shifted clocks before Europe did.
