Ratio risque/rendement
Also called: rr, risk reward, r:r
The risk/reward ratio (R:R) compares the entry→stop distance (the risk) to the entry→target distance (the gain you’re aiming for). At 1:2, you’re targeting twice your risk; you then only need to win 33% of your trades to be profitable. The higher the R:R, the less often you need to be “right” — that’s the core of a statistical edge.
