Also called: timeframe, ut, multi-timeframe
The timeframe is the period of each candle: 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day… Higher timeframes (Daily, H4) show the underlying trend and give more reliable signals; lower ones (M5, M1) fine-tune the entry but carry more noise. Multi-timeframe analysis combines both: context from the higher timeframe, execution on the lower one.
