Grid bot
Also called: grid trading, bot de grille
A grid bot divides a predefined range into a “grid”: buy orders placed at regular intervals below price, sell orders above, banking a small profit on every round trip as long as price oscillates within the zone. Effective in a sideways market, it struggles as soon as price leaves the range — which is why the framework matters: boundaries, grid spacing, and risk management remain decisions for the trader, not the bot.
