MetaTrader (MT4 and its successor MT5) is the standard trading software of the Forex/CFD industry: charts, indicators, automation (Expert Advisors), backtesting. It’s an excellent terminal — but its execution quality depends entirely on the broker behind it. A regulated broker changes everything; an offshore broker can turn it into a trap.
