BOS / CHoCH
Also called: break of structure, change of character, msb
BOS (Break of Structure) confirms the continuation of a trend: price breaks the most recent high (in an uptrend) or low (in a downtrend) in the direction of the move. CHoCH (Change of Character) is the first sign of a reversal: price breaks structure in the opposite direction. Telling the two apart is central to Smart Money Concepts.
